Ok there have been some pretty cool fixes in alpha6 but still have been able to fix add group/catgories link. What is causing it to break is a loding me. It is like anything else I will get it fixed it is just taking time.

Web Links provides a comprehensive way to post weblinks to your site. All links are nodes, which can be put into taxonomies/categories and administered. Admins can select to use "Simple Links" which simply prints a page of weblinks sorted by category with no descriptions--this requires very little set up. Or weblinks can be sorted by category hierarchically with an admin-defined click-through (the maximum number of clicks before menus automatically expand). Additionally a block may be enabled for any category (or sub-category) of weblinks.
